Kubhani ka Meetha:(Hyderabadi Style)
Ingredients
Dry apricot 250 gms
Sugar 150 gms
Almonds 1/4 cup(Toated and peeled)
To Garnish:
Ice cream - vanilla
Fresh cream
Mint leaves.
Method
In a heavy vessel, melt sugar with 1/4 cup of water. Bring it to syrup like consistency.
Wash the apricots and soak them in water for 4 whole hours.
De-seed the apricots. Then chop them down.
Immerse them in sugar syrup.
Cook over medium heat, well covered.
Let it come to pulp like stage and get well blended in the syrup.
Transfer this into a serving dish. Serve hot or cold accompanied by ice-cream. A spoonful of fresh cream can be used to garnish the dessert.
