Apple Bajji:

Ingredients:

Apple 1
Bengal gram flour 1 cup
Chili powder 1 spoon
Turmeric powder 1/4 spoon
Salt
Soda 1 pinch
Oil for frying.

Method:

Slice apple into desired shapes....remove the seeds.

Mix all the above said ingredients in a large bowl(except oil and apple) Make a thin batter out of it.

Heat oil in a deep pan....Dip the apple slices in the batter and fry them in oil.

Leave over kitchen tissues.

Serve hot along with chili and tomato sauce.
Oats and Fruits Kanji:

Ingredients:

Oats - 1/2 cup
Milk 1 cup
Mixed fruits 1/2 cup(apple, orange, grapes, banana...)
Sugar/honey few spoons.

Method:

Boil milk till it reaches its boiling point and slightly above that.

Mix oats and sugar to this. Let oats get soaked well.(maybe atleast for 20 minutes)

Just before serving add fruits to this. It can be served chilled too.
Maadhula Rasam:(Pomogranate rasam)

Ingredients:

Pomogranate fruit - 1(make juice out of it)
Thoor dal cooked water alone - 2 cups
Tomato - 2
Lemon juice - from 2 fruits
Salt
Turmeric powder 1/4 spoon
Asafoetida 1/4 spoon
Coriander leaves few
Curry leaves few
Mustard seeds 1/2 spoon
Ghee few spoons.

To be roasted and powdered

Pepper 1 spoon
Cumin 2 spoons
Red red chilies 5
Curry leaves few
Thoor dal 1 spoon

Method:

In a large wok/kadai....heat ghee. Add mustard, asafoetida and curry leaves to this.

Now add thoor dal cooked water to this. Add salt, chopped tomatoes and powdered masala to this. Let it come to boiling point.

Then add pomogranate juice and lemon juice. Heat this.....less than one minute.

Add chopped coriander leaves and serve along with steam cooked basmati rice.

Amla Juice:(Goose berry juice)

Nellikkai Juice/Nellikkai Sorbet/Sarbath/Sarbeth.

Ingredients:

Gooseberry 10
Mint leaves 10
Honey 1 cup

Method:

Chop gooseberries and remove its seeds.

Wash mint leaves. Wet grind....gooseberries, mint and honey in a blender.

Squeeze to extract juice from it. Repeat it by adding further cold water.

Serve chilled in short glasses....decorate it with 2-3 mint leaves.

Its rich in vitamin-c.
